Pie in an Apple!

I've finally caught up with all my bloggin' for the past couple of weeks!

In addition to the hiking blogs I've been following, I've also discovered the cutest blog with a bunch of design, DIY ideas, and recipes called More Design Please that I absolutely la-LOVE! There are so many creative craft and recipe ideas on this blog that I don't know if I can get through them all this year! My first attempt was a simple, creative recipe for Pie in an Apple:

INGREDIENTS:

Sweet Pie Dough

1/2 cup all purpose flour 

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup corn starch

100g cold butter

1 egg, 1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking powder

For Each Medium Apple

1 tbsp sugar

1/2 tbsp all purpose flour

1/4 tsp powdered cinnamon

Serve warm with ice cream and you have a winner!
