What is vampire power?
Vampire power is power used when devices are turned off or not performing their primary function
Why should I care?
Vampire power consumes roughly 10% of all residential power use and is responsible for an estimated 1% of CO2 emissions.
What can I do?
Install power strips, unplug devices, and shop for more energy efficient devices. These approaches can reduce vampire power by up to 30%
